Thanks to Mike Morelli and his staff for helping kick off our reunion weekend. Good sports bar atmosphere, waiters can be a bit in a rush at times nothing terrible. I think they have some good wings though I was disgusted with the Cajun flavor rub. It was a weird texture and it tasted burnt, not sure what was going on but would not get again. The Nashville flavor on the other hand...AMAZING!

Our neighborhood friendly restaurant offers many versatile settings so whatever mood you’re in, you can find comfort anywhere. We have televisions propped at all angles at the pub and many craft beer selections. When the new Ed’s Tavern opens later this year, it will be the second restaurant opened by the company in two years. The Blundells opened their second concept, FreeMore Tavern, in Wesley Heights, offering only 12 beers on draft and the same menu. Ed’s Tavern renamed itself as Bourbon N Burgers in 2017, but the change didn’t sit well with customers. The owners rebranded back to Ed’s after only a few months.

As for food, customers can expect plenty of burgers made with Ed’s signature 6oz patty packed with chuck, brisket & short rib. Sides include onion rings, fries, tots, mac & cheese, cucumber salad, sauteed veggies, and chips. You won’t find a better local non-corporation owned bar in Charlotte with better food. I’ve had most things menu items here but the wings in any flavor and the burgers are legit! Located in a great comfy neighborhood and I really like the layout here for sports. Ed’s Tavern is located in the heart of Dilworth, NC.

I definitely made the right choice by selecting Ed’s over a number of other Charlotte venues I considered. From start to finish I had a very good experience and many of the folks attending the concert commented about the good service. All the staff were helpful, friendly and efficient. Many of the bright rooms have private balcony and views over the cricket pitch, while parking is free.

The original old town and port, still with intact city walls, is located to the south-east of the city centre. In this atmospheric area you will find the Pig in the Wall and Room 2 hotels. You can get from the airport by Hoppa Bus in just 5 minutes, and Hatton Cross tube station is walking distance away. The drive to and from Southampton docks takes around 2.5 hours depending on traffic.

All container, general cargo and bulk cargo terminals have dirrect access to two US interstate railway systems plus 5 "Class I" US railroads. The CG Railway (terminal railroad) operates from the Mobile Alabama port a rail ferry service to Coatzacoalcos (Mexico). Since the dedication of the Mobile Alabama Cruise Terminal in 2004, Mobile has been twice named Carnival’s “Port of the Year”. At the height of operations in 2019, 2,508 guests were sailing from Mobile on each cruise for an annual total of 187,013 total cruisers from the port. After a flood in 1723, the French rebuilt the fort on Mobile Bay to serve as the area's main defense point until 1820.
The Carnival Spirit set sail on its inaugural cruise out of Mobile on October 6th, 2023. Cruisers aboard this first sailing visited Bimini, Freeport, Nassau, and Half Moon Cay. I had the opportunity to sail on the second voyage, visiting Mahogany Bay, Belize, Costa Maya, and Cozumel. Since 2018, Carnival offers 7-day roundtrip departures from Mobile AL to destinations no longer limited to Caribbean Mexico. Close to lunchtime, my husband and I decided to brave the weather. Several local shops were open and the stores were pretty busy. Located near the end of the port shopping area, The Craft Market was akin to the Straw Market in Nassau. The Jungle Interior Promenade quickly became a favorite for us. This is a unique area that winds around the outer area of the promenade, while being indoors.
